Another Professional 100 Club year has now come to an end with our recent Inflatables Carnival event being a great success. It marked the end of another fantastic year with a wide variety of events including Games Night at Roxy Ball Room, Foodie Bonanza at Trinity Kitchen, Mardi Gras Dinner at Harvey Nichols and our Masquerade themed Ball among others.
I took over the role as Chairman 12 months ago and have really enjoyed getting to know many of you and am proud to have helped deliver a number of great events for the young professional community in Leeds.
I am surrounded by a fantastic group of individuals on the Committee, made up from a wide selection of current members who all take time out from their work schedules to help organise the events. There has been a couple of recent changes to the Committee and I shall introduce our new Committee members at the start of our next event; these include Darren Cassidy (KPMG), Jack Sunter (Mazars) and Emma Wilson (Mills & Reeve). Sadly, we say goodbye to Stephanie Kealey (KPMG) and Holly Lamb (Handelsbanken); thank you all for all your hard work over the years.
Planning is already well underway for next year’s events and we have some amazing ideas in the pipeline, taking advantage of the ever-changing venues across the vibrant city of Leeds. Our event ideas for next year include a 1920’s Gatsby themed Annual Ball in November, a Burgers and Bingo event, a Beers and Gin tasting event, a Harry Potter themed Annual Dinner with cocktail potions, a darts Flight Club event and an outdoor summer pub quiz. The final details of the next event in the Autumn will be announced in due course via email and our new LinkedIn page.
